Rany Fouad
Biomedical engineer building medical devices, from mechanical design to regulatory strategy.
About
I'm Rany, a Biomedical Engineering MS student at Columbia University, dual-degreed with CentraleSupélec in France. My work spans the medical device lifecycle: from CAD design and prototyping at Columbia's Creative Machines Lab, to regulatory and commercialization strategy through coursework in biomedical innovation. My focus is on surgical robotics and rehabilitation technology, with a particular interest in systems that bridge mechanical engineering rigor and clinical impact. I'm currently exploring opportunities for summer 2026 and full-time roles starting January 2027.
